Reading this site
PIS runs no analytics, sets no cookies, and loads nothing from third parties. The site is plain files served by a web server; your browser is not fingerprinted and no tracking profile is built.
Operational web-server logs record the requesting IP address, time, and page path. They exist to detect abuse and to see which published briefings are actually being read (the reason this site exists). Logs are retained for a limited period, are not correlated into profiles, and are never sold or shared — except with law enforcement where PIS is legally compelled to do so.
Contacting us
The open contact channel carries your email address — that is inherent to email. We keep it only long enough to reply, do not add it to any list without your consent, and do not share it.
If you need anonymity, email is the wrong channel. Use the confidential channels described on the homepage — the Tor tip line and PGP-encrypted mail — and read their honest limitations before you do.
Donations
Contributions are voluntary and create no account here. Payment data is handled by the payment provider you choose (Ko-fi, PayPal, card processor, or the blockchain), under that provider's own privacy terms. PIS does not record who donated or link a donation to the confidential channels.
What PIS never does
- No cookies, no trackers, no advertising identifiers.
- No buying or selling of visitor or subscriber data.
- No building of profiles on private individuals (see Limits).
- No selling of contact details to third parties — ever.
